Hi Ruby. You may not remember me...my daughter and I were at the Carle the day you read. later, you and i spoke of how you chose some of what you chose in your book and what it all meant.

Anyway, thinking of you still. Finally got a chance to come peek at your poetry. Lovely the way you have of just simply "stilling" for a fraction of an instant people/places/moments/stories/memories/connections so that some may see into the realm of unseen reality I suspect that you see all the time as a matter of course. Your poetry is as if you wave your hand in a slight swoop then offer it up so that tiny golden birds may come to rest for a second before continuing on their way. You never "capture" Ruby. You offer your very truly "self" itself and then the energy of life itself comes to sit with you it seems to me.
I "recognized" who you are that day Ruby: Medicine Woman :) Thanks for stopping by. You made an indelible impression on me. Peace and All Good.

    Dear Ruby,
I'm sorry I'm getting on the Poetic Moves Bandwagon so late. You know I've always been a big fan, but learning that you love fried okra too (and no, I'm not talking about the breaded kind either), well, girlfriend - uh, what's your name again? ;) - that brings our friendship to a whole new level!
    I miss you,

    Dear Ruby

You are an inspiration to me. I am slowly learning from your example to "Be present in the moment" and find pleasure in the the little things in life; they seem to bring the most happiness. You are an amazing Poet, Author, Photographer, Doctor, Daughter and yes, Cook! I am blessed to know you.

    Love

Great job lady. I enjoyed what's up so far and looking forward to more. So you know I read everything, there is a spelling issue (thems) in the Being in two Volumes write up. Keep following those creative passions.
